Happiness is...

Post by road chicken » Mon Mar 31, 2014 1:35 pm

In all my time wrenching on mopars- I swear to the powers that be- there is no more feeling of accomplishment and relief than getting the three deep nuts on the BB exhaust manifold to break loose and turn. Are the nuts turning on the studs? Are the studs spinning out of the heads? I don't care, they're moving. I bow to the god of Kroil-!!! :D And be damned sure I'm getting the SS versions for replacement. I don't care if they are $15 each! Go Chicken , its yer birthday, GO Chicken, its yer birthday. Sorry- but those of you who know, know what I'm saying :bump:

Almost as good of a feeling as getting the upper ball joint to break free! LOL, gotta love them engineers over at Chryco, never a dull moment wrenching on a Mopar.

Boy you ain't lying about the UBJ. I had a 73 charger which has all four Balljoints as screw in.I did them all by hand. NEVER AGAIN. My parents could hear me all the way in from the shed- especially when something let go and I did an impromptu Superman faceplant.
