Reducing photo size for easy uploads from iPad

Post by 71Satellite98661 » Tue Mar 18, 2014 5:32 am

I finally found a way to reduce image size to avoid the "high pixel" error while trying to upload a photo. This works without using additional software or apps and applies to iPad and may also work for iPhones. Here are the steps...

1. Generate an email while viewing original photo and send to yourself but before you send...
2. Click on "Images" up in the email header. This brings up (4) image size options.
3. Select smaller size. Example: original image was 1.5 MB, smallest size is 41 KB.
4. Send email
5. Open received email and save new reduced size image. Save to Camera Roll is an easy location.

Now you can upload attachment by browsing to your Camera Roll (or wherever you prefer to save).

Viola!
