Navigation troubles...

Post by bigaaadams » Fri Sep 13, 2013 1:16 pm

I am new to the forum..unable to contact administrators by PM..have walked through my profile and believe all is set up right. Had a question on PMs and on advertisements not covered in FAQ...as a new person, am I restricted to not be able to PM/post ADs...also unable to respong to other threads......I sent in a couple ads for parts available to others on here also not listed yet, (over 48 hrs) and no response to tell me what rules I have not followed properly...Thanks for any insight you can shed on this...

I know that the admins have real lives like the rest of us and it takes a while sometimes. Be patient.

Dave set the site up this way. I believe you're required to have a few posts under your belt before it allows you to post in the For Sale areas. I like it this way, as it discourages people joining the site just to sell stuff and never really participating in our community. So....join in and you'll be able to sell and PM very soon.

That is fine if the site is set up this way..curious question only...on the main forum of Mopar cars of which I am vested there is no limitation and we often get ads that are never answered when a member shows interest..so well understand the hit and run. I got the car I am parting out solely for the drive train to do a retrofit and thought it would be great to pass along specific body/trim parts along to persons with said interest for dirt cheap. Would rather they go to a builder than the crusher but I do respect the rules of your forum.

Thanks

Tim
