Good Evening,
I am so looking forward to this weekend, I am going to the Wellborn Museum in Alabama on Saturday. Then heading to Georgia for the All Mopar Southern Nationals. I have to wait one more day, I will post pics when I get back. Plus, getting my family wrapped up into Mopar's is fantastic.
Jeff :)

Sounds like fun Jeff! Have a good time, and we are going to hold you to those pictures. Wish I lived a little closer to some of these bigger Mopar shows. I will have to break down sometime and get over to Farmingdale. Scott.

I am going to show pics of some of the unbelievable cars and things I saw on my Mopar heaven weekend.
I hope they do justice. I am not getting paid to do this but I have to say that the Wellborn Museum is fantastic. It mostly has Mopars with a few extremely rare Fords, Chevy's, and Pontiacs. Some amazing Mopars and the showroom atmosphere with all of the neon signs and classic brochures are phenomenal. Please enjoy and if you get the chance to go the Wellborn Museum it is worth the admission. I also went to the All Southern Mopar Nationals and was a little sadden by the event. I hope it continues to grow is all I can say.
What a terrific treat for my family and myself and will do it again.

Sadly, the Mopar show in South Georgia is no longer worth attending, unless you are there to race.
Up until this year, I had not gone for about 4 years and was blown away with how pathetic it has become.
One "survivor" 73/74 Roadrunner was the sole 71-74 Plymouth B body in the show.
And from what I was told....it was even worse last year, which is kind of hard to imagine.

The weather this year was real nice, which was a nice change. Usually, by late May in South GA, temps are in low to mid 90's. The venue offers no shade at all. My three previous experiences there were all 95+ degree, high humidity days. Frankly, it is probably just the wrong time of year to hold a car show in South Georgia. Something in late September-mid October would definitely be more attractive.

When it first started up there were quite a few vendors. Lots of new parts vendors, Mopar Performance....and a decent selection of used vendors in the swap meet. This year, there were virtually no new parts vendors and maybe 8-10 people selling used parts. Some in the designated swap areas...some set up in the parking lot. I wont even start about the lack of organization.

When I go to a show, I usually spend most of my time walking thru a swap meet and looking at the show cars. All that took me about 25 minutes. Spent another 30 minutes talking to nice fella that had done a EFI conversion to his car, something I had been thinking about.

I drove a total of 8 hours...to spend 1 hour at the show. A complete waste of my time.

Well i live up in the north east and some here might not know about "Mopars at Englishtown" held at a track in New Jersey. I attended a "mopar test day" the year before the first annual "Mopars at Englishtown" was held. I went every year and watched it grow and grow. I remember seeing a line of Daytonas and Superbirds! It was an awesome site. Well it got to a high point and slowly dropped off. Now you are lucky if you see one wing car.
I also attended the first "Chryslers at Carlisle". Yes you could park your(non show) car on the fairgrounds back then. Carlisle just kept growing to what it is today. If you are looking for venders selling parts that's the show to attend. One year it was soooo HOT my hands where pruning! A guy had a a thermometer there and the needle was on 100. Guess you have to take the good with the bad. I only attend the Mopar Nationals one year. Brice road is something everyone should experience!
