Starting a 1973-1974 Plymouth B body Registry

Along with the 1973-74 sunroof research, I would like to start a Registry for 1973-74 B body owners. Over the last several years, Eric has built a database of over a thousand 71-72 B bodies, but I don't think anyone has done the same with the 73-74 group. Its time someone started, and I am volunteering. Once again, your car details will not be posted or shared with anyone else, unless I get prior permission from you. Once I have a few cars in the database, I will start a page that posts some of the stats on these cars. Example:

1973 B-Body color breakdown:
3 of 29 cars are GY8
4 of 29 cars are GB7
2 of 29 cars are FE5
etc.

Engine breakdown:
18 of 29 cars came with the 318
6 of 29 cars came with the 340
3 of 29 cars came with the 400
2 of 29 cars came with the 440

When we get enough cars in the database, we should be able to see just how popular or rare some of the options and colors are with these cars. If you would like to participate, just send me a PM.

UPDATE!!! - Nov 2019

Alright - it has begun. I have just set up a Registry website using Google Sites. It can be found here:

https://sites.google.com/view/1973-74-p ... egist/home

I will start transferring stuff from this page over to the new Website shortly. I would also like to hear from everyone here what they would like to see on the new website. Its about time we got this rolling!!!!

I can be contacted at: 19731974plybbodyregistry@gmail.com

Thanks in advance for any help and guidance you can provide.

Scott.

Are you still open to doing this? I have 4 73-4 Satellites I could send. One good one and 3 parts cars.

All right! I have a couple of participants. I also have been rummaging around on the net for 73-74 cars. I will get busy on this and get some numbers posted soon. Thanks! Scott.

Hey Alabama Mopar - welcome to the nest. Looks like you landed a pretty sweet 74 RR - complete with sunroof! Have you found the Mopar Sunroof Registry website yet? Some pretty good info there - the 73-74 cars are in the works. Thanks for sharing your ride!
Scott.

Hey Linus,
Production info on 72 and up cars is pretty scarce - I am constantly on the look out for this stuff. One of the nest members - Eric - keeps the data base for 71-72 cars. If he has the time, he might be able to see how many HB1 cars he has registered vs. the total registry. That might give you some idea of how many HB1 cars were made. Send him a PM, or let me know if you want me to contact him. Good luck!
Scott.

Hi SDWeatherman,

Wondering what color interior you have in your GY8 Satellite? I have a 71 GTX with GY4 and P6Y3 but has been re-touched with paint so not sure exactly what it should look like. Was curious if you happen to have an original GY4, P6Y3 interior.

Thanks

Sorry, my interior is GT7 Brown. I will look in my car database and see if I have any pictures of that color interior. Scott.

Hello, I have a 1973 400 4spd. It is numbers matching with some after market stuff, rims, rollbar, topical engine parts and after market paint scheme from 1992. I also have a 25 year old appraisal and fender decode by Govier. Thanks, Greg...... I hope my files uploaded correctly. I am unable to add the pdf of appraisal etc.... Not sure why.

Thanks, Greg
