Little by little when I have the time. Prepped the passenger side door jamb and cowl and got an initial layer of paint on it. Will seam seal the cowl area and put a second coat on in the future. Cut the rust out of the lower passenger side windshield area and tack welded in the patch. I will work on getting the windshield channel patch made before doing final welding and paint.

Making the rust go away! Used the existing window channel to fabricate the patch. Slapped on some weld through primer and zapped it down. Forgot to take a picture of the finished and polished welds before I zapped it with chassis black. On to the other corner of the windshield!

Driver's side windshield channel corner has been repaired. Got some primer on the driver's door jamb area too while the weather was nice. Still have a few more windshield channel repairs to go!

Its crazy on how these cars were prone to rust in this specific area.
Some worse than others.
Scott, mine wasn't as bad but still required patches.

My cowl area was pock marked, but not rusted thru.
So I skimmed a coat of All-Metal on it and smoothed it out.

Keepin' it going. One last patch was needed in the lower windshield channel. The weather has been holding pretty good up here in the great white north. Was warm enough one day to get some primer laid down. Now on to the two bad spots in the upper section of the windshield channel.

Coming along nicely. Scott. On a side note I'm well aware of the "Great white North". I grew up in ND and some BRUTAL winters we had and later survived the flood of '99

Awesome job! Keep the updates coming!! I need to make the same repair on my driver’s side. My window channels look nice though.

Last two patches are in - the windshield channel is completely finished now. Also scored an Edelbrock Performer intake for my little souped-up 318 build.

You'll like that intake Scott.
It's a great intake for a 318.
Not so good for a 360 - the ports are too small.
If you find an Air gap intake for a good price grab it.
