SNZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....SNZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....SNORT  HUH?!?! What I'd Miss???

It can be sleepy, and then other times the place explodes. The Irish spring incident of 06 comes to mind. Probably because there isn't a whole lotta who ha getting thrown around. Welcome to the Nest and looks like a nice project.

What cars made up that line? Am I missing any?
GTX
Roadrunner
Satellite

Thanks
That covers it. B5 was not a rare color on 71 Bs (for good reason...great color).

Yes it can be a bit slow here at times. We are a fairly specialized group.

Hello All,
I just purchased a 1971 Plymouth GTX. It's a B5 True Blue color. It's door sticker says manufactured in August 1970, so it's early build from the St Louis plant. It's a standard 440 automatic car.
I'm trying to find out color production figures for it. The only numbers I know are 2211 total 440 automatic cars were shipped.
Any help out there?
Welcome! An August car eh? Any chance you would share the scheduled production date? I am curious just how early in August yours was scheduled to be built. I started a post on member's early cars, and I think the earliest member GTX was August 20, 1970.
Scott.

Hey SteveD,

I just saw last night someone on www.forbbodiesonly.com has a misplaced build sheet for a GY9 G-code GTX. RS23U1G221283. In case that's your car. What a coincidence that would be!

Hi Scott,
Yep, it's an early production car. August. But I do not have a fender tag or build sheet so my knowledge of this car is limited. I will say it's RS23U1G1007XX on my VIN though. Not sure this would help but a local guy looked at it and thinks it could have been one of the first ones off the line.

Steve, yep I'm also a G Code. You are not alone! Lol. Seems like there were alot of LA cars. I live in st louis metro area so the G Code is cool for me since its a local build.

Yep, that is a very early car - might even be a pilot car with it being within the first 700 cars or so. Very cool.

A 1007xx VIN is doubtful to be a pilot car but it will be the first week if not the first day of normal production.
