Pictures of my 71RR V code project
People have been asking me to post some pics on the Nest, so here it is. Its been almost 6 yrs that I started working on this project. Its a Canadian V code car, 4 speed, dana rear end, hemi orange, manual steering, black bench interior, white strobe stripe. The only option is power disk brakes. I found this car in a barn completely disassembled for seven yrs as the prior owner lost interest. The numbers matching drivetrain was still there. The car even had a trailer hitch on it, can you imagine that, towing with a six pack 4 speed car.
Anyhow, the body and paint is almost done, should be coming home in a few weeks. The fun part now starts, as I could start bolting parts on over the winter.
I must thank Eric (from the nest)for all the information over the past few yrs, as I have never worked on one of these cars and I never took this car apart as it was in pieces. His work is not done yet, the details are coming.

Looks great! My favorite color on a '71 RR. My Road Runner also had a heavy-duty trailer hitch welded to the rear framerails. 383 4-speed car with AC. I was told the original owner pulled his fishing boat with the car.

I'm back at it. Had to stop for a while to get my lift installed.
Here's a link to my first days work, ran my brake and fuel lines , got fueltank and ECS tank in and connected.
