Absolutely AWESOME!
This slide show is different than the 1972 CP one I have but way better!
Love the color photographs of the 1972 Road Runner press car.
Red interior on a 1972 Road Runner?! Also did you see there was a red interior on the 1972 Duster too.
Also proof the press car was a 4-speed.
Need a engine photograph to show the 440 6BBL

The red car appears to have hood callout decals correct for a 400 engine (silver with no callout) rather than 440+6 white/black decals. Also interesting that it has 71 style wheel centers.

Is it just the angle of the photo or is that strobe stripe located way forward. I downloaded the 71 and 72 but I havent seen any for the 73 and 74. Maybe I didnt look hard enough.

It does seem the stripe is forward, but I think it's the angle. The way to tell is the bottom of the stripe. It will fall to the centre of the wheelwell, which it seems to in the pic. One of my pet peeves is seeing the strobe stripes (both 71 and 72) done wrong on 'restored' cars. Most guys place them too far back from the quarter window, because they think it looks wrong, but then what happens is the bottom of the strobe ends up past the centre of the wheelwell. I see it all the time and it looks so stupid to me. Not sure on the exact dimension, but the stripe is only 1-1.5" (?) from the rear quarter window.

Love that red interior, sure wish they did that...what a tease Chrysler!!!
