Re: New Member Got my 360 magnum running
Thanks 440 Dan
It was a challenge to get a 01 magnum to work Keeping the serpentine set up
With new style power steering and swapping to carb from EFI just to name a few hurdles
still need to figure out a few things like alternator wiring- If anybody has any info on it I would like to ask u a few questions
It seems to run real strong- I have a built 318 in my dart and feels nothing like a LA small block
Have not been able to run it much since after I did the break in - I figured out my gas tank was full of rust
So I have one on the way
Does anybody know how to handle the gas vent line if you are not using the emission canister?
I was going to put a gas line filter on the end and let it breath thru that
Will post some more pics

-replaced the gas tank because of the rust was pretty bad in there & lines to the motor
The tank I bought the vents were actually in a different location (facing forward to the front of the car-instead of facing the drivers side-
-I ran the vent lines into eachother blocking them off and have opted to drilling a small hole in my fuel cap making it the vent.Yeah eliminated that acumulative canister in the drivers side rear tire well also.
Looking forward to more pics-

On a '69 Charger, the vent tube runs up from the tank, I guess to give it a little expansion room.
It then ends inside the rear frame section. I know if my brother parked the car at a certain angle on a hot day,
with a full tank, gas would drip on the ground. I'd say tee your lines together and run them up as high as you can, just make sure that if they drip, it won't drip on anything hot!
With a rear mounted gas cap, I'd worry about gas constantly dripping while using all that massive mopower!
