My first Life Changing Experience

My first Mopar experience was in about 72 with a local with a 69 Roadrunner and a 72 -440 6 Barrel Roadrunner. The first was a tunnelrammed 383 and a 72 that was stock and triple black Air Grabber 6-Barrel. The tunnelram car would blow the doors off the brand new car back in the day. We actually called him"pussy" back in the day! I won't mention the name of the small Wis. Town today but I hope that 72 is still alive. By the way I knew another guy that lost his triple black 72, 6-Barrel to a DUI in MN and the second car was a LEGIT V code car. The first was brand new and getting it's ass kicked. Didn't they make like 6 in 72?

So far only one V code '72 Road Runner has surfaced. Which was rescued out of a wrecking yard. Doesn't mean that there isn't another one or two that were produced. But they haven't surfaced if they're still around. They were only available for probably less than a couple of weeks when Chrysler pulled the plug on the 6-BBL '72 Runners and 6-Pack '72 Chargers. I can remember when my friend raced his '69 383 Road Runner against a brand new '73 Road Runner/GTX. Which was a 440-4V. The guy thought for sure he'd walk all over Dale because it was a 440. Instead he got beat 3 traffic lights in a row. You could say unfortunately they definitely detuned the cars starting in 1972.
