Remember this car?

Post by scribby31 » Tue Aug 16, 2011 11:11 pm

When I was growing up in Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada, I remember this car. It belonged to the Father of a kid who lived on the street behind my house.

It was 1974 - 75, and I was 6 years old at the time. The car was a 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner in a blue and silver (or grey) two tone paint job. Not sure about the size of the motor, but it was a 4 speed car.

On the hood was a large decal (or possibly painted) of the roadruuner cartoon character in the standing position.

Even as a young boy, I recall the details of this car. Possibly because my Dad owned a 1971 Plymouth Satelite Sebring at the time. So I noticed the similarities and the differences between the two cars.

The family moved away not long after, and I never saw the car again. All these years have past, and I wondered what ever happened to it and where is it now?

Anyway, just thought I'd post this to see if anyone out there ever came across this car over the years.

I have not been around that area but if the lower sections of the car were silver and had chrome trim seperating the upper and lower sections I would say it was a Satellite. But how rare a 4- gear Satellite, it was possible and did happen.
