Car Craft Summer nationals
Sponsered by GM best Chevy, Best 69 Camaro, Best Ford and Best brand X. Hum no wonder I gave up on this magazine before Hotrod. Mopars are Brand X, IMHO Mopars and AMC kicked ass, plus Ford killed GM. SHEEP SHEEP SHEEP. My mint MOPAR ragtop stays home for this one and my families money. Thier LOSS some other small towns gain. I guess they are just that big, take note these magazines are disappearing off the face of the earth quick. Guess not everyone wants to see a 69 Camaro every month.

That's the way it is down here in South Texas. Most shows you get 15-20 corvette classes, 10 camaro classes, just as many mustang classes, but when it comes to mopar, its the "mopar class". No distinction between the generations of mopars, but not even a minor distinction between A, B, C, E, or any of the other bodies.
Luckily our one and only mopar club here in San Antonio went to the convention center and all 10 of us were in the muscle car class with 150 other fords and chevys. We had our own mopar section in the center of the convention center with great displays. Mopars took all 3 trophies, 70' Challenger 340+6 took third, my father's 67' Dart GTS took second, and our other friend took first with his 70' Roadrunner. Man were the chevy and ford guys mad.
Hell I remember when I first bought my roadrunner and trailered it to one of the night shows. I had tons of people walking up wanting to hear the horn and just to look at it in its original state. The best part was popping the hood and hearing almost everyone say "OMG its got a Hemi".
