So continuing on, I found the original windshield washer pump.
The washer bottle had a big crack in it and was very brittle, So I bought a reproduction one at my local Mopar car show.
The pump itself was looking ruff, but it does work (I tested it).

Right down to bare steel.

Then I'll shoot some clearcoat on it and install it to the new washer bottle.

I still need to mount the coil and the throttle cable and the beep beep horn.

Keep going! Come hell or high water - I want to finish the body work on my ride and at least get the shell in paint by this fall.
Scott.

Thanks Scott, the plan is to finish it and start to enjoy it this year.
Today I was able to mount the coil and the ballast resistor as well as the throttle cable and hook up the wiring harness to all the bits.

I also provided a positive feed wire from the starter solenoid to the headlight relay harness. I wrapped the feed wire into the existing wiring harness that runs to the front of the car.

Today I was able to finish up the positive cable that runs to the starter.
Since I'm leaving the battery in the trunk, I needed to connect the starter cable to the battery cable.
So, I borrowed a big ass crimper from my buddy Lloyd.

Then, cleaned up the battery cable end.

Now the starter cable end along with some DEI heat sleeving.
- Jan 22th,2023 (3).jpg (115.76 KiB) Viewed 201501 times
Here's the big butt connector on the starter cable side.
- Jan 22th,2023 (4).jpg (83.31 KiB) Viewed 201501 times
Now the whole thing together.
- Jan 22th,2023 (6).jpg (44.73 KiB) Viewed 201501 times
I left the smaller 2 wires that run to the solenoid longer - when the engine is in the car and the starter hooked up I'll be able to finish up those two wires.

After that was done, I tackled the under hood to rad support seal.
The original one wasn't broken or ripped, just dirty.

Last item is the beep beep horn.
Unfortunately my repop inner fender did not come pre-drilled for the horn mounting.
I had to do it myself.
First, locate the 2 holes that will have to be drilled....

In the meantime it's time to drag out the engine K-member and get started on cleaning it up.
It's a 2 hydraulic jack trolley job to move it.
