And yes......as you can see the license plate light lighting up the underside of the edge of the trunk lid, I'm missing the small plate that goes there.

I had it when I took the car apart but do you think I can find it??? nope....

Thanks ct.....
Finally got a chance to finish the front to back brake line.
Since my stainless lines are only 10 footers I have to use a coupling to join them.
No issues with doing that as I've done it this way in the past.

Also got a chance to install the rear portion of the parking brake cables.
I bought the stainless kit from Dante's and the kit shows up in a INLINE TUBE box, go figure.

Got into mounting up the line-loc on the car.
I put it on the other side of the proportioning valve in the wheel well.

I did have to make a new line for the drivers side as it is so short.

I was finally able to finish up the work on the rear end.
Got the shocks on and the parking brake cables hooked up.
Filled it full of fluid (along with sure-grip additive).
Polished up the Welds and put them on.
The car now sits on its rear tires.

Next step is to mount the battery tray in the trunk, but that's for next weekend.... :D

I finally got a chance to install the Optima battery tray in the trunk. I bought the car with a trunk mounted battery, so I stayed with the same concept.

Started cleaning up the underside of the Air Grabber setup.
Not the cleanest under there - I sanded all of the mounting bosses so the tops are flat for when the threaded fasteners go on them.
Other little bits of gooped fiberglass to remove as well...

I do have some sanding to do on the 4 tapered bosses at the back.

Yes Scott, it is the Stinger set-up.......
I ran into a snag.
The Stinger set-up does need some work...it is not just out of the box ready. I had to sand some of the imperfections on the underside.
The rear 4 cones on the underside also needed some clean-up.

So as I was cleaning them up this happened...
July 4th (2).jpg
July 4th (2).jpg (38.07 KiB) Viewed 23447 times
I wasn't too happy on how thin the cones actually are - I was hoping they would have been solid.
Anyway, I thought I was screwed, so I started to figure out a way to make something work.
So this is what I thought up.....I went to Lowes and bought these.

#10-24 fender washer, #10-24 x 1 1/2" long stainless machine screw & #10-24 furniture base flange.
The idea is to have a stud coming thru so the bell-nut can attach to it.....but how to attach it?
Here's how....
