'73/'74 Hood Pins & Other Accessories

If you were fortunate, and your salesman was sharp. You could get hood pins on a '73 or '74 RR. They were available as a dealer add-on installed item. They were called a "locking package." Which are shown in the Accessories '73 book, and the '74 Action Accents book. No rear spoiler in the book. But they did offer a dealer installed decklid luggage rack. They offered it for the Dodge Charger too. But both are a different size; 2" more on the Charger. There is the one piece front spoiler. Shows it illustrated on a Charger. But it says that it is a universal fit. I've mentioned before the hood tach is listed as a dealer installed item for both years in these books, and a couple of other tachs you could install on the steering column. They could also install air shocks on the car for you which they called "ride leveler." There was a couple of stripe packages. They had dealer installed packages for power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. As well as various radios & tape players too. All of which were installed at the dealership. Sticker price shock was usually enough to keep a person from asking about installing other goodies on the cars. You could always go back later on, and have the dealer install them, or take them home, and install them yourself.
