Got my Runner out for my birthday last Friday (1/14) and took some photos of it. It's possible one of these might show up on a catalog cover, don't know yet... And YES, I still need to get the front valance painted.
Brian asked for some photos of the car, so here he goes. Hopefully he can just download them from here.

Great shots. I always liked the looks of a white Road Runner. Not something that was a common color out here in southern California. Does it still have a/c, or did you remove that? As for the valance. Just a thought. You could get really wild. How so? Leave the valance that color. Then paint the rest of the bottom of the car like a Sepring Plus to match the front valance.

The AC went away when the car became a 440+6. And no AC with air grabber hoods, so... You know, a guy has to have his priorities.
Sebring Plus paint on my Runner? The horror!

Wasn't sure if you had put on a smaller air compressor unit for the a/c. As I've seen guys who went through the hassle of rearranging things so that they could have their cake, and eat it too with Hemis and 6-Pack setups. If I ever get around to putting the air grabber hood on I have for my car. I'm going to fix the scoop in the open position, and leave everything off under the hood. To save weight.

Hey Bruce, it's 2011, priorities maybe, but no reason today to sacrifice A/C just for a six-pack or an Air Grabber. If on the other hand, originality is your priority, how do you explain those wheels?

Eh, that was really just the short and easy answer... the LONG answer is that over the years the car lost ALL it's AC parts except the dash. That plus adding the 6 barrel set up and the air grabber hood, well, it was just simpler to leave it off.
Original? Who ever said the car was original?

It was originally a 383 4-speed car, has subframe connectors, drilled and slotted front disc brakes AND those wheels. She won't be "original" as long as I own her...

You'll have to visit Canada to get them

I guess they are hard to come by.........I always put on a California plate when I am at a car show etc. the reason being is that #1 anyone with your plate # can get your address and I do not want everyone at a show to know where the car is located. #2 My car originally came from California so I show it as such.

Thanks for the photos, Bruce. I've seen your car but not close up. I like the wheels. Couple of questions tho for ya:
What kind of disc brakes you got on it? All around or just the front Also, is that the original interior? Mine has that same interior. I want to put disc brakes all around on mine but not sure of which kit. I also want to retain the power booster if all possible, keeping the majority of my car original.
Thanks
