Are these RARE
There are 2 of these for sale in my city and I am going to buy them, He says they came off a 68 or 69 roadrunner when he worked at a dealership many years ago, he also has a little roadrunner figure that he says the salesguys used to give away when you bought a roadrunner I thought it might be a neat conversation piece to pick up as well. I guess when you put the discs on the wheels the bird stays stationary when your driving...anyway I think they are neat.

Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.

Re: Are these RARE
They were an advertising deal in 1969 that the Plymouth dealerships could put on a Road Runner on the showroom floor. They come up for sale every so often. A friend of mine bought a pair of them years ago at one of the Mopar Nats for me. As I collected Road Runner stuff. I still have them mounted up on the wall in my den. I'm still looking for the elusive Coyote rug, and stand up tall plastic Road Runner!

Somebody repopped these after a big article in MCG a bunch of years back. I think there's a Dodge White Hat version also.
