That's a healthy small block alright. Good luck with it.

Well the verdict is in...Not bad for a little old SB 340, it fell short of the 520 mark but it was a little humid... Final numbers after 4 pulls 502.9 Hp @ 5650 RPM and 505.7 Ft-Lb Torque @ 4256 RPM. The Torque was amazing, the graff chart is almost a straight line!!! :haha: Mike Liston knows how to build a awsome motor with lots of Torque and HP...

Very nice. Would put most all 383 or 440's to shame.
What are the details on the build?

Humm, sounds to me like you need to install a larger gas tank. Maybe a couple more gasoline credit cards too! :^)

Word of caution though. I love horsepower as much as anybody. Always have, always will. But keep in mind that our cars are unibody construction. So that if you don't bother to tie the frame together with frame connectors of some sort. You'll have the same problem that a lot of my friends have had over the years with monster horsepower. The body will start flexing, and the next thing you know. You're trying to figure out why the doors on your car don't want to shut right, and the side windows don't line up. Because the body isn't straight anymore.
