They send the 1971 yellow sattelite off the cliff after daisy has just waxed it and then she gets the white jeep.

also forgot to mention, a movie I think called 3 o'clock high where a kid is transfered to a new school and drives up in what I think is a 71-72 b-body. hard to tell as all you see is a rusty , primered lower 3/4 length driver side with 4 zoomies poking up and he opens the door exposing the inner door skin with no interior panel. sure looked like mine when I had the panel off. car rumbled well tho.

I don't have a digital camera to take a picture of my TV when it's on, but on Cartoon Network at night there's a 1971 Lemon Twist Road Runner that's on for just a second in the intro of 'Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law.'

I saw Shaft's Big Score last night which featured the movie's hero, John Shaft driving around in red '72 Satellite (brand new at the time it was filmed) in few good chases.

on the daisy duke 71 and 74 plymouth....i was tild that they switched cars when that moved production of the show to the west coast......the reason was the (as I was told) that the 71 were more plentiful there in Hollywood....that is why it has the 73 rr stripe in the 71-72 cars.

there is a Dukes site that show all...ALL!! of the cars ever used on the show....it is pretty interesting...scottish440

the episode where the duke boys send Daisy's RR off the cliff, she gets the jeep. Rumor has it that the chargers and 4 doors were easy to find, but the satellites and RR were too hard to replace.

On the new Dukes of hazzard movie there is a petty blue '71 or '72 RR that you see a couple of times during the Hazzard county rally.
Had 426CI callouts on the hood.

There was one of three blue b bodies that they built for the movie on ebay. I was thinking about bidding on it. It had the blk/org insert seats, body work was done to make it a 10 footer and it came with a 400 not installed. I thought it would go for more than 1600 so I didnt bid. It looks like a pretty solid car needing only a few things to make back into a a killer RR. This car was not finished in time to do a jump so it got a new lease on a new life. It came with a complete set of decals to match the ones in the movie, and it had all the paperwork to go with it. Oh and it had a 73-4 flat hood, like the ones in the movie. Well worth the price of 1600. You snooze you loose
