Just curious...I saw it on Car Domain a long time ago. It's still in Mich., but at a dealer, maybe selling on consignment

I know the car, and I know the guy selling it. We are not friends or anything like that, I know him from talking at shows, and of course I have a 71 Sebring Plus, so I had to look at that car. He lives about 10 minutes from me, the next city over to the east. Its a very solid car, nice! The guy is very nice, a mopar guy. I haven't seen the car in about 2 years, but if your serious, I'll go look at it, take photos you might want....I'm heading out of town tomorrow until Monday the 5th, so I can't get back to you until then. He might just have the car on consignment as you stated.

That's really cool that you've seen the car firsthand. I'm just curious as to whether it's a survivor car or restored. It looks too clean to be a survivor, but I doubt it's had a full blown resto. I'd really like to talk to the guy firsthand, rather than some guy selling it for him who only can't tell me ** and is just jacking up the price. I really kinda thought that the owner might be on the boards, as I saw that he has (or had) another Satellite 71 model that's built.

I appreciate the offer to check it out!! I'd have to find out a lot of info before determining my level of interest. I may just have to call the outfit that's selling it.

I really like the car as it reminds me of my first car. Mine was pretty much the same, but had a half vinyl top and it had green cloth inserts on the seats. I've looked for a duplicate over the years. This is the closest that I've seen, and looks like a nice car.

Oh well, just called the dealer. It's gone. Still advertised, but gone.

I sure do hope the new owner shows up on the boards! I think everyone that owns one of these cars should be here. I sure do learn a lot from the folks here.

Thanks for the offer to look at the car Brian.

Nice car, but not a survivor. Should be painted gray below the chrome trim line.

My 72 Satellite had the lower trim but was single tone all over. I got it from my dentist who bought the car new at Marietta Dodge. I never remember it being two toned, but of course I was probably not paying much attention to it till 80 or so. Mine was a Satellite Sebring...This car has an incorrest Sepbring Plus emblem on the rear, and then only Satellite on the side. That I'd guess would explain my cloth inserts on the seats. I swear that my car was wearing original paint.

Only the Sebring Plus received the silver paint below the trim.

If the badges on the car are accurate, it is a sebring plus.
