Hello, to all 71-74 Mopar lovers who have 71-72 Road Runners and Satellites. I will have a custom shaker hood on display that I have made, plus a 14 year old custom restoration on a 1972 Charger with a custom hood and grafted in Moon roof. I will be at the Chrysler Nationals in July at the Carlisle fairgrounds in Carlilse Pa. My space numbers are; IA 27-28-29 (Next to Hardens)
If you have any questions, e-mail me at; glr7069@ptd.net

I have the hood ready in primer with trim ring also attached. I will try and attach a picture but if I can't attach a picture...anyone interested can e-mail me for pictures.

I am sorry, I don't have any pictures to post at this time because the hood is only cut and the underwebbing reinforcement temporally put into place and I have a modified trim ring fitted but not finished. It will be ready for display at the Chryslers at Carlile meet but I will also get pictures to post here or sent to anyone who asked if interested.
Thank you for your interest.

Can't really say I care for the shaker hood, but the 72 Charger with the Challenger scoops looked really sweet.
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!Image

Well, there are others that don't care for the shaker also because of the cost of not only the custom made hood and custom trim ring.....and all of the shaker stuff on top of the engine..it is a high end piece and not on everyones budget.
The 72 Charger that I built for my wife did take alot of interest, the Challenger hood grafted onto the Charger hood really got there attention, it is clean looking and sleek. Then they looked at the rest of the car and noticed the moon roof and everyone thought it was factory...but I had told the people that asked that I grafted a moon roof in from a 1975 Cordoba......

Sorry, no...The project has been put on hold because it is for me...LOL... I am swamped with customer work and I haven't had time to get back onto my own car.
