This is a gorgeous car and has some very nice options. I just about saved all the pics cause he gets nice and close with the camera and gets in every nook and cranny on the car. So those of you guys who are restoring a roadrunner along with me, this is the perfect opportunity to get in close.

Before you break out your wallet for the "buy it now", know that this car recently was for sale listed at $27000. I am assuming was sold for a price somewhere in that neighborhood..... and I missed it.
Nice car though.

That's Marty's old road runner. The guy selling it now is a flipper, and he got it for a very low price...

I hate people like that. They're the ones that make it impossible for the average guy to get his hands on a nice car. I like the EV2 cars as well, but I'm more of a GY3 kinda guy

This car was out there priced quite reasonably for a long time. Nobody bit (only because I lacked the funds at the time) other than this dealer.
He won't get $55K for the car, but he has done a very nice job presenting it. We'll probably being seeing this car on Ebay for a while... much like my old GY3 71 GTX. Probably just trying to capitalize on some Barrett-Jackson momentum.
Can't remember the last time I've seen a 71 RR non-v-code, non-hemi break the $30K mark. Even one as nice as this will have a tough go of it.

All about the options. There'll be someone out there who wants that car with those options and will jump on it. As my old man says " There an a** for every seat".
That's why i went after mine as soon as I saw it was because of the options. Yeah its not a 1 of 55 hemi cars or an air grabber but that's not raining on my parade. Being 19 and being able to say you own a roadrunner makes all my buddies sh** chickens lol.

I'd pay not much over $30,000 for that car. It's super nice, pretty rare, but I don't think it's worth 55.
pats71' - Yeah, I was on that same boat when I bought mine. Some guys don't respect you when you're that young and have a nice car...But you eventually earn it, and the rest are just jealous.

I've had some communication with the seller. He is very serious about that price. No debate with me is going to change that, so I didn't waste the keystrokes.
It will take him a few months to come to terms with the fact that '71 Roadrunners don't demand the same dollars as '71 'Cudas.

Definitely...Because 15 years ago, someone could have bought that car rotisserie restored for $25,000.
Yeah, he can stick to his price, but just like you said, 471...He'll have to come to terms eventually.
Many of these E-bodies aren't worth as much as some of these people want them to be, and are still sold for ridiculous prices.
