I really happen to like this RR, I know it's a down market and this car has plenty wrong with it, but, it is a running and driving N96 bench 4-spd car in GY3!

Someone has been trying to sell that car at that price for a long time.
Need to lose those painted bumpers.

My mistake. I thought you were referring to a different ebay car. Disregard my previous statement.
The link in your first post doesn't work.

cool ride. I wonder how many '71s those folks have.
They had a sherwood green ''71 GTX with painted cop rallyes just a few weeks back...it was S-I-C-K. BIN for like 35k or something...
1. the engine bay is not body color.
2. where's the fender tag picture?
3. I don't know what a rough driver is worth. it's cool though.

Why no pics of the tag or sheet?
I'd value it at $15k if it's a real Curious yellow car.
I've seen NICE N96 drivers go for $12k recently.

in need of a cosmetic restoration on this extremely rare example.

I see rot coming threw in a few places. Not one pic of the floors, fender tag, or build sheet. I imagine the floors need replacing. The 1/4's, doors, and rocker panels have issues. Not cosmetic! Extremely rare??? Not in my opinion. It is restorable if you want to put the money/time in it. I wouldn't pay 12K for it in it's condition. I'm not a fan of bench seats either.

I bought mine off Ebay for $18k. It has no rust and is a '71 GTX N96 wing (pretty sure numbers matching) car. However, the drivers door has been reskinned and they didnt do a great job with the fit. The interior is "worn", the engine bay could use some prettying up and the air grabber mechanism works but needs restoring.
Did I overpay? Probably...but someone might be willing to "overpay" for that Runner. It looks dam nice to me and I'd be proud to take it to a car show, something I'd have quams about doing with mine in its present state.

No rust, air grabber, etc. for $18K. I think you did OK. No rust is the biggie for me.

The undercarriage actually looks rock solid in the pics, with maybe some rot in the left front floor pan. I happen to like benchs better than buckets since to me at least, that's what the original RR theme was all about

As far as no fender tag and broadcast sheet pics, he wants me to call him first... Seems weird as he posted pics of the '71 GTX's tag on that listing.
