new to site from ohio

hollo. i am new to this site but not mopars. i have a 1971 gtx that i bought in 1987. it is gold leaf (gy8)with gold vinyl top. gold int,gold stripes.it is also an early build,827 . when i got the car the motor and trans were gone. i found the pryr owner by old registration found in car. i found original motor in 1998.there are some strange things on car that are original.it has a 1970 style console,the steering wheel is smooth, not grained. and the engine call outs are black with numbers cut out so body color shows through.

indeed. I have the same car, but GY9. gold top, gold interior.
what color is your dash? Do you have a broadcast sheet? my interior is Y3 (per the sheet), but Y6 on the dash.

thanks for the welcome. I live in Toledo. also have apartment in cincinnati sorry i dont have any pics but i will get them soon. car is almost ready for paint.this car didnt come from ohio. it is originaly from california.has code n97 noise reduction package with turn down tail pipes.
found a reciet from a motorcyle shop in pamona

I have owned a few early to December '71 B&E bodies, and they all had the '70 style console as well.
Do you have any pics of your X?
