New to site, hello from Port Alberni B.C. Canada

Hi , I am new to the site. I have owned several A,B,C, and E bodies. Currently I am looking at a 71' roadrunner 383 console auto, EV2, black interior. It's a project. I will post pic's if I get it. Great site !

Welcome! Man, that is my FAVORITE color on '71s. Must be thanks to the ads back in the day... doesn't happen to have the orange & black interior does it?

Welcome! I just joined the site a couple months back and I'm in Nanaimo. I'm currently slowly restoring a GTX I bought off Ebay from Ohio.
There's another guy I met who lives in Cedar that has a couple of 70's satelites and an orange 383 Road Runner just like the one in your picture, unfortunately its quite rusty. He's a really nice guy. That wouldnt happen to be the same car? Actually I think his is a 4 spd
This is a fantastic web site and the guys here are amazingly knowlegable and patient answering questions.

Hi there.
I'm that "really nice guy in Cedar" NorrTH so kindly referred to me as earlier in the thread. My 71 Road Runner is a close sister to yours, except with the 4spd. It's a wing,disc brake, strobe stripe and radio delete car, with all numbers matching, but needs alot of body panel replacing. Was you car bought recently from the lower mainland or Okanagan? I had my eye on a couple of 71s recently. Good luck with the project look forward to photos of progress!

Hi Mark, THANKS and yes I purchased the roadrunner in Vancouver, there was a 71' with the orange and black interior for sale in kamloops a while back. NICE roadrunner, love the radio delete dash-only the second one that I have ever seen. Is your charger the F8 green one that was at the Parksville shows ? I had the F8 Newport sportgrain, I didn't get a chance to meet you.
