hhmm don't recall seeing the speed sign, lol.... I'm guessing I was somewhere in the 80+ range though
Now what were you picturing exactly??? Could be an idea for another video !! LOL
For those into other mopars, on my YouTube page there I have some videos of my buddies 65 Barracuda as well

Looks like you're enjoying that car even though it's NOT green!

Smells, LOL good one didn't even think of that!!
Bruce, yeah I'm firmly admitting that the green one was just a fluke to make me look harder for the Blue one, I really love this car, picked up a nice disc kit from BrakeTech Solutions in Charlotte and am also looking to get the rear suspension sorted this winter as well. If the economy would pick up some steam I could be tempted into a 440+6 crate from CMengineering in Johnson SC, prices are nice there. Like the 360 but prefer the 440
that lifted rearend did not like the hard swerve to miss the unexpected car on the drive by that's for sure

Rebuilt my rear suspension using parts from ESPO. New springs, bushings, etc. Still sits higher than I'd like. Might actually add some lowering blocks to mine.
440+6 motors are sweet! Take my word for it... and you could always sell that 360 to help offset some of the cost.

the way it's looking, this stroker 360 was more than the 440, which I find odd

See, if I had any money (which I DON'T), I'd buy that 360 just to have it for a future rod project... it would be perfect.

I popped into the Chysler dealership and bought 2 oem springs for $137 each cdn. Thats an amazing deal imo. My car sits about 2.5 - 3" too high at the back. I'll let you guys know how it goes after they're installed.

BTW, don't know if your car has the rear sway bar, but you might look at adding it if it doesn't. The guys who have them tell me that it's a worthwhile addition to help get the car handling better.

thanks North, look forward to hearing that feedback for sure.
Bruce, I agree on keeping the 360 if I could, I have a friend that has several mopars in a field by his house, one is a 72 Dart GT, no motor, it's got me thinkin.................
on the rear I do not have a sway bar, the main issue with the rear of my cars suspension is this:
Previous owner, beyond the one I bought it from, had Gabriel high end air shocks in there, but it appears the air fill line has worn or corroded apart, instead of fixing that, they added some coil spings mounted to the top of the rear end, this create the height and some serious bounce and instability, but works for straight line work. They appear to have done this because they bought the wheels with the wrong backspacing and needed to raise it up, so several DOH! mistakes in a row.
My solution will be to repair the air fill line to the air shocks, remove the coils and see how she sits, then identify the make and model of the wheels and get the correct rear wheels with backspacing to set them in, I have about 2 inches between the tire and the leaf now. I think I'll look for a rear sway bar as well, this will sit the rear down a bit and tuck the tires in correctly

Youch! Yeah, that stuff needs to GO! I was surprised when I rebuilt my rear suspension. Put new EVERYTHING on it and I don't think I even spent 3 bills.
