Guys check this site out. www.440source.com You can make your 383 496 cubic inches or your 400 512! for about 2 grand in parts for the short block. My machine shop guy says they are for real. I'm saving my pennys. I was looking for a 440 now I am rethinking that. I have a lot of B blocks.

i was going to build a 500 or 512 out of my 440 (i might as well have as much as i ended up spending on a moderately hopped-up +.030 440). i've heard some negative things, but i don't know how legit they are, most likely people just complaining for no reason, but idk. their site was of a lot of value to me getting my 440 together, just didn't have the money at the time to get a stroker kit. i've heard good things about the guy running the business, so i can't see 440 Source being a bad company
