Little video I thought I'd share
Took this little video today while I was out cleaning the garage and was warming the car up. Also I took in a Mopar only show in Spencer NC at the Transportation Museum, only about 30 cars, only one 74 Roadrunner, then there was a 68 and a 70. I'll resize the pics and post them later. Shockingly there were no 70's Baracudas or Challengers at all!

nice car...very very very nice...you gotta get the rear down. a 2" gap above the rear tire is not socially acceptable practice anymore. if the rear tires will fit in the wells, you should go back to stock ride height, esp since the front is awesome and low.

Yes to both questions, she's beginning to find the passion in the old muscle cars. and Yes I need to lower that back down a tad. The current tires won't fit so I'll have to see if I can put on something narrower and drop her back down a bit

Re: Little video I thought I'd share
anyone catch on this "1971" roadrunner he has 440 stickers on the simulated callouts and inside the engine bay it is a 360 smallblock check the distributor position it also says in the video it is a 360.
now my memeory may be off. but i think the smallest engine that was available for the roadrunner in 1971 was the 383..since the roadrunner was the performance vehicle of the satellite.
i think the smallest engine you could get in 1972 for the roadrunner was the 340..i mean there was a 1971 360 but i have never seen a 360 in 1971 roadrunner...did they come with 'em? like i have never seen a 360 in a roadrunner period or a 318? the smallest engine i have seen in a roadrunner was the 340 in 1972...
i mean i could be wrong

I could be wrong but I thought a 340 was available in 71 in the RR.

Re: Little video I thought I'd share
340 available in 71 - the 360 is much more easily come by, though and seems to be the "go to" engine of the small block family, not to mention the mopar crate engines available and now the 408 strokers from the 360s

Re: Little video I thought I'd share
joseph you are not crazy, this is NOT an original RoadRunner. This is a clone from a 71 Satellite Sebring. A previous owner built it into this car. The owner I bought it from replaced the original 318 with a crate 360 stroker you see in the video.

Re: Little video I thought I'd share
oh ok cool...
you know though.. a lot of guys opt for the 360 but i have found..if you want to make a very respectable
street engine for less..and dotn mind putting the money into it..i have gotten 400-500hp out of a good ole 318..and the kicker i can usually find em for about 200-500 dollars running..believe it or not the 318 had better pistons then the 360...the 360 for some odd reason had weaker pistons...
