About one inch rearward of the quarter windows.
Do not center it on the "c" pillar.
See my car below.

I think a few guys here have put them on with a spray bottle of water and a little soap.
I'd let a pro do it.

The placement is exactly as he says. The stripe is centered on the wheel opening and NOT in the c-pillar.

I put mine on myself, it wasn't bad. If you'd like to do it yourself, use lots of soapy water in a spray bottle to get it all nice and straight, then carefully squeegee out all the water and bubbles from under the decals. Be generous with it! A plastic or rubber pancake turner works great for a squeegee too.

The secret potion I used was a blend of unscented Dawn dish soap and regular tap water. For a small to medium spray bottle of water, about a teaspoon of soap should be good. An extra set of hands will make the job easier, I recommend it!

I centered mine on the wheel opening. At the time, I wasn't sure where to put it. I couldn't find many pictures to compare to, but looks like I put it in a good spot! Also, phoenixgraphix.com sells these stripes and shows a few pictures of placement that you can eyeball.

Good luck! :D

i think the stripe kit should be on one sheet for the whole stripe .
yes mock it up get some green or painters masking tape tape the stripe kit in place on toward the front of the car along the roof so you can flip it over once you have it placed where you want it slowly peel off the underside of the decal paper , if the decal starts to come off with the protecive paper stop and rub the decal so it sticks to the top paper . once you have the buttom side of the decal protective paper off spray the roof and 1/4s with soapy water and flip the decal back into postion and you can add more tape to hold it in place if you want . as said get somebody to help you if you can it will make the job eaiser .
the decal will want to slide all over the place with the soapy water so be careful once you start to squeegee the water out . only squeegee the decal , the statter stripe is or should be seperate meaning it will be stripe paint stripe paint stripe paint ect this isnt or shouldnt be a continous decal .

work slow , but not to slow starting from the top middle and out to each side . make sure you squeegee out all of the air bubbles when you think you have the bubble out check it again . then check it again that thick top protective paper hides alot of bubbles .
slowly peel the top paper off when you are sure the decal is stuck to the car and check for bubbles again .

im no expert but i did my runner and it turned out fine .

I believe the stripe I bought came as a 3-piece.

For a closer alignment, you can use a tape measure to check how low the stripe is on the wheel openings for the sides. For the top, you can measure to the back window to the stripe. Masking tape is a big help to make sure your angles are right.

I did the top first, how well you center it will give the results of the sides.

The paper over the stripe should stay on, that will protect the edges while you squeegee and keep all the individual squares together. Just be sure to use lots of that soapy water!
