Good to hear! Funny how many items Mopar kept the same across many years and models. I couldn't believe it when I realized that the marker lenses used '72 and up were the same through the mid-80's. :D

all i need to do now is figure out the linkage and all on the carb.I'm using the 4brl from the 400 right now until i can find a nice one.Choke is annoying! On another note I want to get the 3,temp,amps and oil gauge cluster and a tach for inside.

Well things have kind of changed. The carter carb from the 400 wasent really working to good.wasent letting enough gas in.So ended up buying a 700 holley from my dads buddy. Then my dad gave it to his other friend who races datsuns/nissans at our local strip. He did his magic touch to it.IT WORKS GREAT.Car started right up this time!We did the real break in,ran it for 20 minutes.Longest 20 minutes of my life.Had no problems besides the valve cover wasn't tight and oil leaked and i have a drip on my lower rad hose.
Hose is leaking because the radiator was from my lebaron, which has a different size water pump and radiator out/inlets for some reason.

So I still need to figure out my kick down and throttle cable hookup, having a hard time thinking on an idea on how to keep this throttle cable where it needs to be,have no clue where my old one is.

Im just glad everything's fine with my engine

After 3 long years I have driven my car.So amazing the difference In power,It just wants to go!

All I did was pull It out and turn it around and park it again.lmao Couple things need to be adjusted though. The throttle was scaring me to death.I need more harder of spring on it.I also need to get a hose for the brake vacuum,I found this one hose and used it but its to weak, flattens out so need to change that.

All In all it was a great experience.Bought a gauge trio and hooked up the temp and oil pressure gauge.Still need to figure out where to mount the gauges, guess under the dash.

It probably is stock. I've been working on 70-72's for a few years now, so I'm not too hip on the 73-4 parts.

That green lid in Mopar for sure.

I was asking because I like the design and placement and would like one for my 73 Challenger. "Correct" Repops are insanely priced.

Today i spent maybe an hour and a half on my gauges. All of them are hooked up for their purpose and they all have lighting. The clock is a different story, has 3 wires. The brown I guessed was a ground and so that grounded plus power to one other wire made the clock tic,so that means the only wire left was for the light inside,i put both together along with a power source but i only get the light.Needs to be re wired.

Here Is my only major dilemma.I wired everything to my battery input in the fuse box,but with key out lights are still on,even my dash light above my speedo is on,I thought maybe it was because i have no door on but pushing In the door switch does nothing.I'm fairly new to wiring and I'm trying to go by the directions the best i can.

I'm gonna see if there's a light input in my fuse box i can merge into.I merged everything with the volt gauge wire but apparently its constant power.Duh :D

Everything is wire with electrical tape so i can get the entire harness complete. When i know everything is where Its suppose to be Ill go through it with proper connectors.

The prong next to "BAT" should be "IGN" and will only come on with the key.

Anything under the dash with an orange wire is usually for lights, so you can probably hook all your guage wires into one of them.

Do NOT add anything to the cigar lighter circuit. this is also the brake light circuit and you can blow a fuse by lighting up and "lighting up", so adding more just makes it that much easier to pop the circuit.
