Just saying Hi from Down under.
My ride is a 71 Road Runner, 383 auto, Autumn Bronze.
All matching numbers. Early build car. Scheduled date of 8/18/70. Don't know how early of a car it is, so if anyone can help that would be much appreciated.
It is a St Louis built car.
I am doing the Mopar Show circuts over here.

Welcome! Wow, that's a beautiful car. I believe that production typically started late in July, so your car is fairly early... But Eric and the guys will know more about that kinda stuff than I do.

Welcome to the Nest! First day of production was 8/2/70....that was the date the PreVolu cars were built. So yes, yours is a pretty early build. Looks like a nice ride!
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

Welcome to the Nest!
Looks like a really nice ride there. I've got a couple earlier cars myself. Project Blue Bird is a 23 September 1970 SPD, and my Sebring Plus is 20 August 1970.
The Sebring Plus is a St. Louis car as well. Cool that we now have the 18th, 19th and 20th represented here.
Anyway, I took the liberty to fix the picture of your car so that if any of us here in the US were to see it, we'd recognize it.

where exactly down under? My cousin and his wife are in Brisbane, Australia. He took his jeep with him, and had to get it converted to Right hand drive.

We are halfway between Melbourne & Sydney in a town called Wodonga.
We can license cars down here in Australia LHD if they are 25 years or older so I gather your cousins jeep did not fit into that category.
I am also part of the local chrysler club- Albury Wodonga Chrysler club. We are one of the smallest chrysler clubs in Australia but put on the biggest chrysler show/event outside of the US.
Check out our website for some pics and news:
http://www.chryslersonthemurray.com
In 2010 our show is putting the focus/spotlight on US muscle cars.
