A source for correct nuts and bolts

Post by ajcpaperboy » Thu May 07, 2009 5:48 pm

I just got some new nuts and bolts for my restoration
and thought I should share this great source. The company
is AMK Products. Check out Their web site at http://www.amkproducts.com
You can find almost anything you need. I wish I had found them before I cleaned
so many nuts and bolts by hand. Be sure to check the master kits.
I almost forgot to tell yawl with a $30 order they send a catalog that
you should not be without.
I said "Don't look Ethel, but it was to late."

Just checked out their site. You weren't kidding, it's amazing. $650 sounds steep for an engine and chassis kit, but you're talking about 400 different screws and bolts....not bad at all, plus it gives you a guide for where they all go, for people like me who took their car apart 10+ years ago *cough*

Also, their site has an electronic version of their catalog....very useful!

Thanks for the link.

I'm 20 years disassembled, throw in a wife, 3 kids along with 1 flood in a storage shed that rusted all front hardware into a 20 pound boat anchor, I have GOT to check that site out...

thanks for the link!
