Would this car have had white interior...The data plate decoders I've used are a little unclear...
I actually like the black exterior with white interior.

Here's a link from Hamtramck Historical.

I believe it would have white seats/door panels/head liner with black carpet and dash/steering column.

Odd, that car is optioned with the RR decor package (A87) that included wheel opening moldings and the rear tape blackout, the J45 hood pins but no console or buddy seat and only the standard non-rallye mirror.
Where did you find this car if I might ask?

I wasn't looking for a car, but it is local to my hometown's area. I like it. What I do lie about it, is the fact that it's pretty basic. There is no power steering, nor a/c or power brakes. My 72 is pretty well optioned by contrast. This car is an engine, transmission, but pretty much little otherwise, mechanicly. I thought the option selection was a little odd. I was surprised to see no console. Hope to have it in my driveway this Saturday.

I did get. It's at home with my 72. I drove it around the block cautiously. It's been sitting for years, so the brakes are spongy. The steering has some slop too. I really like it. I'm going to do a little and use it as a casual driver while I'm restoring the 72. It's so different than my 72 option-wise. I got her tucked away until I get some brake and front end parts.
