Cool item my brother just dropped of a 1/24 scale model of a 71 Satellite. It is from 1984 and is still in the original box and has not been put together, it's in like new condition. What is cool about it is that the box says 71 Satellite but the picture and the model have a RR hood and stripe package and a 440-6 pack motor.
Anyway it is a nice memento to have I think he got it at a swap meet.

Just got a surprise gift
Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.
Re: Just got a surprise gift
I have the same kit, keep saying I'm going to build it. I wish it had the original Satellite hood with a 318 or 383, and not the RR hood and 440-6.

I wish it was a stock Sebring like mine as well. You don't see these models around anymore.

My local hobby shop has a lot of older models, mainly because no one has bought them all this time, but one thing i have notice is they have odd models.Ones you wouldn't necessary be looking for but would build it anyway.ha ha ha.

What is cool is that it has the Satellite bezel. I am currently mastering a 72 RR conversion for that kit and the new GTX version.
