Road Runner Nest

As I said in that thread I've never seen that color on a Runner. But a buddy DID have a Satellite in that color. I wasn't into the fender tags and numbers back then, so I don't know if it was original. Looked good on the car though!

Bruce, you sure your buddies car wasn't GK6? Seems awfully close to that color....maybe a little more red.

Can't really say Eric. I remember it being a burgundy '71 Satellite. Got a sample of GK6?

Edit: Oh, Autumn Bronze? Nope, it was way redder than Autumn Bronze. Plus another buddy had the Hemi Road Runner in Autumn Bronze, so I KNOW what that color looks like.

2 GK6 cars, here is GTX71's car. I always thought it looked aweful red for autumn bronze but that can all be camera and lighting. Here is my car when I 1st bought it and its paint was at its shiniest. (all my other pics it is dusty)




Opps edit: I found this in another thread from GTX71 then the thread I found the working link to pics of his car.

As you may have noticed, the exterior color is not quite original... That is a Rovers "Paprika Pearl" and it is more red than the original Autumn Bronze.

Guess that is what happens when I post from work without reading all resources.
