Terracuda
Has anyone seen this? at first, it looks kinda cool - i actually like the color (not so much with the gold stripes), the rear end is killer, but the rest of the car....not so much.......looks like a chevy-style cowl hood (yuck), then he's completely modified the entire body and frame, changing proportions and making it be smooth and all, but throws on some ugly chrome round mirrors...and gold painted centers on the typical wheels....don't get me wrong, a lot of his cars are really nice, but this one just doesn't do it for me, gives my term "foosified" a different meaning

It must be in stealth mode, I can't see it. . .
where do we go to see the Terracuda?

Re: Terracuda
This would be it...
While I'm not typically a Foose basher because I appreciate his art and artistry with cars, not to mention his passion for his work, this car doesn't do much for me. While I don't HATE the car, the stripes are ugly, the "logo" on the quarter panel is hideous, the front seats are WAY too big, and overall you lose the beauty of the '70 Cuda underneath...
And I HAVE to ask, how many times do you need to put the Foose logo on one car? Foose wheels, Foose brakes, Foose plate, Foose' name in the Terracuda logo, etc, etc. Makes you think as nice of a guy as everyone SAYS he is, is he in love with himself or something?

I think the color/paint is quite nice, but the wheels and tires make the thing look like a joke, sorry. I do not equate vintage cars of this sort with ultralow-profile tires and insanely offset rims.
In fact, the best thing I can say about it other than the color is that it's not a DONK. Otherwise, it looks like something you'd see on the cover of Lowrider magazine.

Re: Terracuda
I didn't even get into the rims... and no, you can't fault the perfect body and paint work! I've NEVER seen a '70 Cuda with a hood that fit as PERFECTLY as this one.

Re: Terracuda
The body work is always A1 from him. But I am not a fan of his paint schemes, it's always a two tone some times three. I like the stance and the way the wheel wells are full. Those rims just plain old SUCK. I think they did a Mopar on Overhaulin and they made a set of big rims that were patterned from a road wheel, that looked pretty nice. I don't think Foose gives a hoot about keeping a collector car looking stock he makes way too much money boogering them up. Maybe he should do a 72 SSP so he could do a true two toned paint job.

Re: Terracuda
Love the paint colors, can't stand the stripe pattern....bumblebee stripe on a Cuda???? ....and that hood is horrible!
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!
Re: Terracuda
I agree Foose should do a 72 SSP and wellllllllll..........I sure would let him do my 72. Quick somebody call him with a hard luck story for me. LOL

Re: Terracuda
There are all kinds of styles...this is not mine. I like the traditional less wheel, more tire....Euro look rims don't look so keen to me on this. I agree the hood is too GM. The color, paint and body are nice. Stripe and tail logo...not so much..
I know some folks will love it..just not my style Cuda. He executed his idea nicely, I'm just not a fan. I'd pay the same amount of money this car would sell for in exchange for a more factory original Cuda.

Re: Terracuda
I like much of Fosse's work but, this is pretty ugly in my opinion.

+1 to that. My thoughts exactly.

Re: Terracuda
Certainly not his best work.......He should stick to Chev's&Fords. Sometimes less is more and when these cars were new Plymouth got it right in terms of style so why think you can do it better.
