So..A guy wants to sell me this...

...a set of 440 HP manifolds for $250.

Is this a good deal? I'm buying a number of other pieces from him, and I asked for a volume discount (LOL). I don't know much about buying manifolds. I'd like to have them for sure. I just want to make sure it's a good deal. i'm assuming that they are in good shape of course. I have yet to see them.

if you're going with manifolds, i guess the price isn't out of line...i have a set of mid to late 70s manifolds that fit just fine on my car (and i know for sure on will fit a 69 charger as well) that sell on ebay for over 200...and these are low-performance manifolds, not the hi-po's...

i don't know what the hi-po manifolds are like, but the jump from running the manifolds i had on to headers is a big difference on the SOP meter

That's a pretty decent price if they aren't pitted badly and the casting #s and date codes are correct for your car.

I would be interrested in those manifolds if you don't want them. I bought a pair last year, had them shipped over in Dec and they got lost in transit, never saw them again!

Well here's a drivers side manifold for a Hp 72 car. Based on the bidding, $250 may be steep for the 72 and up manifolds....it would be a decent price for 71s.
