Look whats joining my team of Mopars
Well I've been sick of driving my 94 Pontiac Firebird I liked it but to me it was just a GM and didnt cut it for me. So I was in Fort Dodge big town close to where I live and Bower Bros that run kinda a old car dealer had this puppy and Ive been on him to get the front seat back from a buddy and then I finally bought it. Its a California car the odo has rolled over the only rust it has is passenger outside skin and thats it other then minor stuff. The interior is nice and I never thought I would own a A body always had B's but its great until I can finally restore my Runner. Also quick question the gas gauge isn't responding and checked the sending unit and moves freely and the wiring seems intact it moves a little when started but hardly nothing.

If I were to ever own an A body, that's the car I'd buy. A fellow soldier owned one of those when we were stationed at Ft. Eustis for AIT. Sweeeeeeeeeet car!
And I've been thinking about the project after the Serious Satellite. ..I found a 1971 Plymouth Fury, red with black interior, at the junkyard and it's in excellent shape. That car was just cool as all git out. .
but that car you bought looks like a ton of fun.

Cool ride....What's the drivetrain? The seat pattern is awesome..Is it a bench with a folding armrest, or buckets with a buddy seat?
That'd make a good driver, and still deliver decent fuel mileage...(You wouldn't believe the lines for gas in Atlanta, if you can even find it)
I like it. Good color combo etc. A bodies were my daily drivers for years. Great find.

"Did I just buy another car?!?"
Re: Look whats joining my team of Mopars
Its bench with fold down arm rest and only interior work is putting new dash cover on and an idiot cut holes in the door panels and they need replacing sometime. Its a 318 2 bbl with the 904 with the 8.25 rearend. But I still can't figure out whats going on with the gas gauge I dont really want to take the cluster out to see if theres something wrong and not knowing if its the dash regulator. But I wouldnt think that would be the problem if the other gauges respond. Also since I'm in college I plan on painting it to the factory hemi and would only cost me around $500 since I'd be doing it myself.

I would repace the regulator anyway. Go with the MORE expensive solid state version. Its not oem, but it will keep your car from burning down. And while you are at it you can check all of the connections at your cluster. Also check your bulkhead connectors. Youwould be quite suprised what a aluminum duelplain 4br. intake will do to wake up your 318, and still get good gas milage!
