my new SSP drove like a dream

Post by birdboy » Wed Sep 24, 2008 9:08 am

found a SSP unrestored with 53k miles on it. picked it up this past weekend. loaded in trailer and was heading home (about a 2 hour drive) transmission went out in the truck towing it soon after i left. had no time to spare, as soon as i was to arrive home we were leaving for our last points race of the season. didnt want to miss it, was 1 round out of 1st place. so i unloaded the SSP checked the water/oil filled the gas tank and drove it home. smooth sailing and even got a few thumbs up.

Nice Car

It is fun getting the thumbs up and/or the flashing headlights from opposing traffic!

Nice car! What do you race? I was heading home from the packer game Sunday and I blew the 454 in my suburban, too bad I wasn't towing something cool like you so I could drive home.
