Post by Ronnman » Thu Jul 03, 2008 7:40 pm

Anyone have any addition info on the concept Roadrunner? Mopar Enthusiast magazine has an article on the concept.

I Would like a red one with white strobe to match my '71. Also front and rear spoilers.

I like it better than the new Challenger, but I'm biased.

Wouldn't it be great to have that concept car parked next to your 71/72 even 73/4 in your garage.

Just last night some ramdom PU pulled in my drive and asked if my car was for sale. We talked a bit. This guy said he has a Superbird. He got it in 1974. Talk is cheap.

Now that would be a nice complement to my '71 also.

1972RM23 - Thanks for posting the pics. I tried 3 times and gave up. I like the body lines better than the new Challenger. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Chrysler at least builds the prototype. Then if response is favorable, maybe they will go into production.

I admit it looks truly bad-ass in so many ways the new Challenger doesn't. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

But it's not even a concept, right? Just some magazine's "what if..." idea.

I wouldn't give it any more thought because you're gonna be disappointed or waiting forever. Just drive your current Runner around and be happy. 8)
