that sucks...i dunno how much they cost, but pry around 500, i'd say..."f-it", just get a stroker kit and do the whole thing lol jk

well not much progress yet. eng still on stand doing some cleaning of components to detail them. this eng compartment is making the rest of the car look bad :rant: oh well I'll get the bodywork done someday. all that matters is getting her running and on the road again.

Well the engine is in. I'l post the pics when I get home from my friends tonight as I was out of town this weekend when he did it. I got the new heater box installed last week and reinstalled some of the interior trim and cut the holes for the seat and seatbelt bolts to go through in the carpet.

Congrats!

Anyway, not to thread jack, but I'm thinking of removing the buddy seat altogether (they don't seem to make a repop seat cover for it anyway) and mounting a small fire extinguisher there.

yep, they make one 71-2 anyway...only place i've seen it is legendary,...personally, i'd rather have the buddy seat than the console just for the arm rest

Have to try a different coil had no spark last night.Had power getting to the coil. :rant:

:rant: Had to buy another ign module. The other one was brand new also the sparkplug wires didn't fit and they were the right part #. rant over.


Got it running discovered a colapsed lifter so ordered new ones NOT from MP went w/ comp cams.

Here's some more. Painted the hood and some other parts. I know the hood blackout was supposed to be semiflat black. The flexflat clear I got didn't come out right.
