This just came up on a search:

Looks to be an original Curious Yellow wagon. Wild.
Wish it was closer to home.

Having owned a Curious Yellow car, I can tell you, that is a WHOLE LOTTA YELLOW.
If repainted, that sucker would be absolutely BLINDING in the sun.

I got them to add some more pictures and answer a couple of questions.
No fender tag.
I see what looks like green paint in the cargo area, but yellow in all the jambs. Maybe the interior was green at some point.
Certainly not a survivor anyway, but maybe a solid backbone for a "Suburban Assault Vehicle" project.
If I could get it home for a reasonable price, I'd be tempted to bid on it.

I almost bought the thing. $1200 could have gotten it... plus another $800 to get it home.
Ultimately I decided it was a little too rough. 99% rust free, but lot's of dented panels. Needed more than just a coat of paint, and mechanically it's a mess.
Anyway, it has been relisted. This time with no reserve. Have at it.

If timing were different, that would be coming home to Ohio, that's for sure. What a cool wagon, and looks like it would be the perfect foundation for the "Satellite Custom SRT8" project I've had in mind for a while.
Then again, it's not like I've had the time or cash to get Project Blue Bird back on the road..

Heres is
one that is fairly close to me. It doesnt have front bucket seats and its not curious yellow and its not running plus its interior looks alittle bit more rough but it does have rallye wheels.

Here's another:

Looks nice straight and rust free. Current price seems to reflect that.
edit: I should say, "reasonably straight". LF fender has a wrinkle as does the tail gate. Still straighter than the yellow one though.
Those buckets in the yellow car were not original BTW. They looks like '68 Charger buckets.

I saw that one before the one I posted up but it was too far away for me to drive and look at.

That one in montana looks like a better one cause it has an engine in it that will run for the next 150 yrs.

Geez - anything that can haul my whole family (wife +3 kids) and all there crap for under 2 grand sounds like a great deal to me. Maybe I can talk my wife into selling her '06 Mazda Minivan and getting a "classic" family station wagon :roflol:
