I like when the guy says "WE ARE GETTING UP THERE IN AGE AND I HATE TO ADMIT IT, BUT THIS CAR IS JUST TO MUCH FOR WHAT WE WANTED".........I like the 73/74 hood on the 71/72's....

I've liked that car every time I've seen it come up for sale. If I had the coin, it would be in my garage. Would make a heck of a fun toy.
And yea, if done right, the 73/74 style hoods do fit the lines of the 71/72s pretty well.

This was actually the first '71/'72 I had seen with the '73/'74 hood, and you can see in the photos they modified the '71 header panel to work WITH the lines of the hood... That would be an issue if you wanted to fit one of these hoods to a '71/'72.Dave wrote:And yea, if done right, the 73/74 style hoods do fit the lines of the 71/72s pretty well.
