So earlier this week on ebay I see the black/blue interior GTX that 471Magnum just bought BACK UP FOR SALE!
Now, I see another auction today that Luvmoparz is selling both of his cars!
What's going on around here???

idk...gas prices? economy? i've kinda noticed lately that there have been a LOT of 4th gen b's on ebay...dunno if that's good or bad also noticed a spike in parts for sale....
the gtx...idk i thought it was kinda weird he just picked up a car...too much money in a yeller one, so sell it, get a black one, then try to sell it or trade for a different 71 or 2 runner??? that just seems messed up to me...is it possible to not be satisfied, cuz that's what i'd say...both of those x's were SWEET

I was thinking about that tonight, even though I know the answer. I spotted this ad on ebay, and I know this guy has posted on the board before. It made me think about why some need to sell.

The economy, jobs, circumstances changing, etc, I'm glad I bought my car when I did. But I know things happen, and I think that is one reason why you see these cars turn over. Plus some people like the 71/72 cars, but don't love them

.........I love my Satellite Sebring Plus, and would never sell it.

word...i love my car...and it doesn't cost me anything to have it, unless i'm driving it or modding it lol.....but it's paid for, doesn't owe me anything....i've had offers that would pay off my new mustang, but i wouldn't sell it (plus, anyone who would pay me that much for my car has to be out of their mind, in my opinion, but i think prices are way sky high anyway)
there was a time about a year and a half ago that i thought i was going to hafta sell my car, but i couldn't bring myself to do it...i just changed my habits...stopped going out, making trips, etc....i'm kinda doing the same thing now...making a lot more money now, but i'm cutting back on everything so i can get my credit card and the last of my college bill paid.

I do know that some of the things that keeps throwing wrenches into my rustification project are my kids. ..especially the daughter in college. Every time I turn around, we're having hidden college expenses that ambush us, like the 2000 bucks we have to fork over now to the university due to the increased tuition hikes they've implemented. You just can't budget for that.
No matter how much you budget and scrimp, hidden expenses with kids are always. . .always going to happen. They're worth it, but it does put a huge dent in your extra curricular plans. . .
So, life happens. . .

Well I have had mine for 20+ yrs so I don't see it being sold anytime soon

but unfortunately I don't forsee it being fixed up anytime soon either.

Todays economy isn't helping at all.
I'm just confused I didnt see any of these cars listed in the "Cars for sale" section on this forum or the B-body section on Moparts.

I notice both of these guys have been silent here on the nest for awhile too. I do understand circumstances force things to happen we don't always want....hope all is well with them.
I've been fortunate enough to never have to sell any of my mopars. In fact, the only time I have sold one is because I have another lined up that I want even more! Guess once I own them, I don't even think of the possibility of selling.

I hate to start any rumors but, I heard that someone on this site is going to buy all the mopars on this site, He is also going to start a hostile takeover by offering a high bid to the admins and renaming the site.
he is currently out posting everone and will over take the admins by the end of the year.

two for 7200

i just bought one for 4500 and its a 73 i been searching for a decent 71/72 for months(i'm not patient). i hope prices don't keep going down or i'm gonna kick myself in the nuts. i got a rust problem too

and no 1/4s to boot. i still wouldn't sell though. it killed me when i sold my 99 dakota r/t. i wanted some thing to learn about and tinker with because i don't know that much, with the r/t computers and all that crap it was hard to do anything to it. in the short time i've had mine i've learned you can always do something without buying anything, blahblah don't sell you'll kick yourself in the nuts. unless you sell to me cheap

Just trying to put a microsoft vs yahoo spin on it,but seriously I would never get rid of my roadrunner.I regret getting rid of my first one.Its a shame but its part of the enviroment, people losing their jobs, high gas prices, not being able to afford morgages, taxes, everything keeps going up.
some of us just have to cash out(or sell our stock to the highest bidder).
