Road Runner Nest

well, it's in...had to custom-make the wires (accel) so i have a bunch of yeller under my hood now, but it started right up and is runnin perfect, sounds quite a bit better than before even, but after investigating, the vacuum advance on my stock distributor wasn't working and my points were worn (which, i figured, but since i knew i was changing, i didn't care)

that's my story on that....justmessin with taillights and tomorrow, stripes, and then power steering hose (pressure hose has a pin-hole in the seam)

well, don't go looking for a power steering pressure hose on a saturday...the store tells me they have it, but when i get there, they don't have it, cuz the hose they have isn't even close .....but the ignition's done, exhaust is done, electrical (grounding) problem is done, body side striping is done, wheels are done, shifter's done, interior's about done, so i'm almost done with the "re-freshening", or for history buffs, the "reformation" lol

i'm pretty happy how things are going...way easier than i remember (probably because i've done it all before)

PS UPDATE: with the ignition and headers, the car has some pretty good power again...need to re-tune the carb a lil bit, as it's running a little lean, but will light em up with ease barely touching the throttle
