How would you identify a six-pack block if it was stripped?

VIN for sure....part number for 66-72 440 is #2536430

I think that your rods are more important than the block for six pak rebuilding....JMO

the year of block 70-71 hp 4bbl 6bbl are same rods crank same oil pad is the

pistons are not the same it is same block none 440 lp

70 4bbl 9.7 71 9.5 pistons use flat top pistons

70 6bbl 10.3 71 10.3 use flat top pistons with four release valves

and they are externally balanced.

69 hp 440 bbl is same as 4bbl have same rod as the not hp and is not six pak ly rod

72 -75 hp have six pak rods but are n balanced. 8.7 pistons
