They did exist. I had one at the end of my senior year of high school. Bought it from my step-dad's drug dealer for $600 in 1987. Ended up making a carb plate to install some nitrous lines into then proceeded to blow the crank out the bottom of the engine. It was a nasty sight. Ended up taking it to a junkyard in Illinois and selling it for $400. It was a great haul ass car, from what I can remember. Chicks liked it. I haven't seen one in this build since. Seen a couple 318 versions but no original 440. I should have fixed it up again, but as a kid you don't always think about that.
