73 74 ROADRUNNER Satellite front SPOILER

Post by rav440 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 8:39 pm

i contacted this guy " spoilersbyrandy " a few months back when i saw his action for a DUSTER spoiler he made and asked him if he could make one for the 73 74 road runner / SATELLITE . well he contacted me the other day and here it is :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/73-74-RO ... dZViewItem

i think it looks COOL and would really finish off the front end . being i already have 71-72 CHIN spoilers on mine " wich were no fun getting to fit " and dont fit all that well i paid $75.00 +SH for the CHIN spoilers so i dont think RANDYs price of $130.00 + $23.00 is a bad deal at all .

Awesome! That should really make the '73-'74s less "generic" looking. It compliments the Go-Wing well!

Now I'm torn between the '71-'72 eyebrow style and that one.

How well does the '71-'72 eyebrows fit on the '73-'74 as far as following the body contour?

Also, anyone have some/more pics of either spoiler MOUNTED?

the EYEBROW spoilers are what is on the CUDAs & CHALLENGERs i would say that being they have little to no curve would be impossible to fit on a 73-74 B body plymouth .
the CHIN spoiler is what i have on my rr and they WERE NOT FUN TO GET THEM TO FIT , i got them on but they are far far away from a perfet contour to the car , i thought the there couldnt be that much diff between the 71-72 front as to the 73-74 just let me say theres a ton of differance .

It was the chin spoilers I was referring to (off '71-'72 RR) like shown on the pic of the black '73-'74 which looks bad-ass. Thanks for the info about the install. Since I like things easy, I think I'm gonna just go with the big under-pan one from E-bay. Might as well support the fact they're making parts for a '73-'74 RR, and "Mad Max" it out to boot. I also want to put '71-'72 style louvers, which I've seen on E-bay.

Two things.

Every spoiler ive seen on a car is black ,Does anyone have any pics of cars with different color spoilers?Ive tried to search but like always you get a bunch of other stuff.Preferably a 73 or 74?

And second..I never thought to put my myspace link on here..your a genius!

the spoilers are to be black . here is a runner that i copied except i used the SUPERBIRD " PLYMOUTH " decal , i was going to paint the spoilers white but i think it would have been too much .

Read again. I said I might as well "Mad Max" my car out, and I didn't mean it was a bad thing! I love the old-school bling. Hell, to prove it, I'm almost willing to remove my decklid and throw some gas cans and tires in there for ultimate effect! No, seriously, it's one of my favorite movies. Well, Road Warrior, then Mad Max, and watching all the muscle cars is tight! And I'm seriously going to put the wing, louvers, and spoilers. ;-) No Mad Max bashing from this guy...
