Okay, I've got a pole going on over at Moparts. I figure I might get some better opinions over here.

The Rallyes are going bye-bye. (already sold, so don't bother asking)

Here are your choices.
15" Boyd Coddington Sultans. 15x7 front with 235-60-15 and 15x8 rear with 275-60-15:

17" Centerline Telstars. 17x8 front with 225-50-17 and 17x9 rear with 275-50-17:

I voted Sultans. I little more classic car style wheel on a classic car. For me I would ckeck out the weight, preferring lighter wheels for performance. Also price would play a part since neither jump out at me as that much more appealing.
The Telestar 17' just might be what I'd buy if it were me but......
Price and wt are part of my decision making process.

Price will be almost exactly the same as it stands, although I'm waiting on a couple more quotes on the Sultans.

I can't find weight specs on either. Were they the same size, I'm sure the Telstars would come out lighter.

If weight were no object, I'd run 26 lb Keystone Klassics. :P

I gotta agree, the Boyd wheels have the right nostalgic look.

I've still got one old set of classic slots that I'm going to mount up on the Road Runner from time to time (might even drop them on the SSP some too) just because I love the look of them.

Here they are on my old green Sebring:

I dunno.

I'm not necessarily looking for a nostalgic look. I just don't want it looking like an anachronism (big word I know, look it up :P ).

In the photochop, you get the feeling the Sultans have a lot of dish, which gives them a good look. Reality might be a little different.

A friend of mine ran the same 17" tire combo I am considering on his ''70 Challenger on Torq Thrust IIs. Wish I had a picture handy, but it had a wicked stance that I think I can duplicate on the GTX.

I voted Sultans. The Telstars look a little too "pimp my ride" for me.

I ordered the Sultans. They will arrive sometime next week. Probably be a little while before I get tires mounted and get them on the car. We're inthe dead of winter, so I'm in no big hurry.
